1. Who we are
SME AI is provided by Ventureship (“we”, “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our websites, use the SME AI Services, join our partner program or talk with Samantha.
When a business uses SME AI to communicate with its own customers, that business decides why and how its customers’ information is used, and we process that information on its behalf. In those cases, the business’s own privacy notice also applies, and our Data Processing Addendum governs our role.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details such as your name, email address, business name and sign-in credentials.
- Business information you provide to set up campaigns and teach Samantha, such as website addresses, documents and recordings.
- Messages you send us, for example through our contact form.
- Partner details, such as payout information, if you join our partner program.
Information from conversations
- When someone talks with Samantha, we process what is said or written, contact details they choose to share, and details about the conversation such as its time, duration and the campaign or partner it relates to.
- Calls and meetings may be recorded, transcribed or summarized to provide the Services, where permitted by law.
Information collected automatically
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited.
- Information stored in cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate and maintain the Services, including conversations, campaigns, payments and handoffs.
- To attribute leads and sales to the right campaigns and partners.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates and support requests.
- To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms.
- To improve and develop the Services.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for the purposes described here, or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and role-based access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Read more on our security page.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can also ask not to be contacted again, and that request will be honored.
To exercise these rights, contact us through our contact page. If your information was collected on behalf of a business using SME AI, we may refer your request to that business. Account holders can also delete their account from their workspace settings.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
We may process information in countries other than the one in which it was collected. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
